The Common Core website for high school mathematics provides a variety of practice materials that students can use to help them prepare for upcoming tests and benchmarks such as the AP exam. This book accompanies the textbook, "Principles of Mathematics," by Richard Rado and Solomon Epstein from Pearson-Prentice Hall. The author, Robert L., is a physics professor at Stevenson University in Pennsylvania and works with the ENIAC Project which has been featured in many science magazine articles including one in the magazine The National Geographic News magazine(May 2007) called “How Einstein Once Worked. ” The book is meant to be a study guide for students preparing for the AP Exam in Pre-Calculus or Calculus AB/BC. I liked this book because it had a lot of practice problems and worked problems that students can use to prepare themselves for the exam. It also came with various study guides and solutions manuals that could be downloaded off of their website which is accessible through their publisher, Pearson-Prentice Hall. This book did a good job at giving you a scenario about what you will be seeing on the AP exam so you can anticipate what type of questions to expect. It also compared to the styles of many other AP style, math books so you could figure out which style you liked best.
